They're going for those cats because of their high value.  Grin

Heard they past right by several unlocked doos and headed straight for the cats. Can't remember where I heard it, but I'm sure I heard it somewhere.  Lips Sealed

Time to load the shotgun!!!  Anyone caught attempting to steal my sleds will get a load of bird shot in the a$$!!!!  Angry  I would use a heavier load but I want them to suffer and NEVER SIT DOWN AGAIN WITHOUT THINKING TWICE ABOUT STEALING MY SH!#....

Lakeffect, I hope you've got everything put away, it is getting pretty crappy out there.

P.S. Your gun is cleaned and ready to PROTECT!!!

Just my 2 cents worth....

Skidoo50,

Were those John K's sleds parked across the street from your house?  I talked to him on Monday. I heard they even changed their ball to 2" since they had a 1-7/8" (which was left behind)?  I was trying to get John to go to the UP Feb 19.

Yes they were John's sleds. The only thing the thieves left behind were the pins for the top and an 1 7/8s ball. He should have had the tongue locked, but I guess thats hindsight now. At least the trailer and his sled were insured. He has been wanting to buy a new kitty for awhile!!!! He can't buy any other brand, he would have to buy all new gear as well!!!!!!!!!!!     Mark

Any leads yet on finding these crooks?  I've been watching Craigslist for parts.

No word yet on any of the trailers or sleds. I think they are long gone or in pieces.

Justing waiting on the insurance check.  I won't buy this year, but there will be a new sled next season and a big ass lock for the trailer and sleds.

Sorry to hear about your loss.  I keep one of those 1" thick cables with the built in locks on the sleds, tied together at the a-arms.  I keep two locks on the trailer.  One is the ball with a hoop lock that goes over the coupler, along with a pad lock on the coupler.  Every morning when I wake up the first thing I do is look out the window to make sure the sleds are still there.  Plus, there's like four cops living in my neighbor hood!  A state trooper right across the street. Sometimes he parks the cruiser outside.  That always helps.  Grin
