We've lost one of our best friends in snowmobiling and life

I received a phone call this evening that long time club member Bob Lynas lost his fight with cancer yesterday morning. I've only known Bob since I joined the club in 2002, but he's been a voice of reason in the club for many, many years. Bob loved snowmobiling and was passionate about making sure he did everything he could to keep the South Bend Buffalo Run snowmobile trail going year after year. Bob went to every trail meeting with the Indiana DNR that he could, and his wisdom not only made the DNR sit down and think, but he also gave insight to all attendee's of those meetings as to what the meetings were about, the snowmobiler. He was a true snowmobiler and a true friend. If you saw a 70+ year old on a Yamaha RX1 cruising down the Buffalo Run, it was Bob. Although he couldn't ride last winter due to medical reasons, he still showed up to meetings to give a helping hand, when he was well enough.
He was a joy to be around.
You'll be missed by all, Bob.
Tony
